Past Projects

CARDIFF INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF MUSICAL THEATRE. The first ever international festival to celebrate the art form of musical theatre in all its forms. Three Festivals took place in Cardiff in 2002, 2005 and 2006. Each Festival hosted 100 performances, over 11 venues, of musical theatre, old and new, large and small, encompassing full scale musical productions, musicals in concert, opera, jazz, dance, cabaret, films, new musical workshops, masterclasses, lectures and participatory events for young people. Over the three Festivals many legendary figures of musical theatre made their way to Cardiff, including Cy Coleman, Stephen Sondheim, Julia McKenzie, Robert Kimball, Don Pippin, Ted Chapin, Peter Stone, Stephen Flaherty, and many others.

UBS VERBIER FESTIVAL ORCHESTRAS. The UBS Verbier Festival Orchestra was created as a collaboration between UBS and the Verbier Festival, and from its outset, was widely considered to be one of the world's leading training orchestras and achieved an outstanding international reputation for quality, vitality and commitment. The Orchestra worked with many of the world's finest conductors including James Levine, Herbert Blomstedt, Sir Andrew Davis, Charles Dutoit, Daniele Gatti, Valery Gergiev, Manfred Honeck, Neeme Järvi, Paavo Järvi, Kurt Masur, Zubin Mehta, Kent Nagano, Gianandrea Noseda, Mikhail Pletnev, Mstislav Rostropovich, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Wolfgang Sawallisch, Yuri Temirkanov and Michael Tilson Thomas, among others.
